This is the most beautiful story of creating culture around HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP development. In a world so overwhelmed with violence and callousness, it is refreshing, inspiring and uplifting to read about a loving exprience that invites people and children especially, to become family. Love it.

Hey Mark, I was just doing a little search for 'rite of competence' and noticed that you, out of 160,000 results, are the foremost speaker on the subject.

Then I stumbled upon The Green Rag. When you were telling me the story, I didn't realize that you'd already written a blog about it. What was the lack of confidence about? This is great, I loved reading it, I laughed, and it even made me tear up a little bit. AND I have some suggestions if you ever want to make it into something bigger in the future.
